Personal Deliverance and the Angelic Guard
33.4 [MT=34:4] I sought out the Lord and He heard me, and from all my sojournings He rescued me. 33.5 [MT=34:5] Come to Him and be enlightened, and your faces shall by no means be put to shame. 33.6 [MT=34:6] This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him, and from all his afflictions He saved him. 33.7 [MT=34:7] The angel of the Lord will encamp around those who fear Him, and he will rescue them.
33.8 [MT=34:8] Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who hopes in Him. 33.9 [MT=34:9] Fear the Lord, O you His saints, for there is no lack to those who fear Him. 33.10 [MT=34:10] The rich have become poor and hungry, but those who seek out the Lord shall not be diminished of any good thing. The Path of Life
33.11 [MT=34:11] Come, children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord. 33.12 [MT=34:12] Who is the man who desires life, loving to see good days? 33.13 [MT=34:13] Stop your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking deceit. 33.14 [MT=34:14] Turn away from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it.
The Divine Response to Suffering
33.15 [MT=34:15] The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open to their petition. 33.16 [MT=34:16] But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to destroy the memory of them from the earth. 33.17 [MT=34:17] The righteous cried out, and the Lord heard them, and from all their afflictions He rescued them.
33.18 [MT=34:18] The Lord is near to those who are crushed in heart, and He will save the humble in spirit. 33.19 [MT=34:19] Many are the afflictions of the righteous, and from all of them the Lord will rescue them. 33.20 [MT=34:20] He guards all their bones; not one of them shall be broken. 33.21 [MT=34:21] The death of sinners is wicked, and those who hate the righteous shall go astray. 33.22 [MT=34:22] The Lord will redeem the souls of His servants, and all who hope in Him shall by no means go astray.
