Εἰς τὸ τέλος·
μὴ διαφθείρῃς·
τῷ Δαυὶδ εἰς στηλογραφίαν ἐν τῷ αὐτὸν ἀποδιδράσκειν ἀπὸ προσώπου Σαοὺλ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον. 		Εἰς τὸ τέλος·
μὴ διαφθείρῃς·
τῷ Δαυῒδ εἰς στηλογραφίαν ἐν τῷ αὐτὸν ἀποδιδράσκειν ἀπὸ προσώπου Σαοὺλ εἰς τὸ σπήλαιον.

3 He shall send from heaven, and save from the reproach of him who would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

57:3 ἐξαπέστειλεν ἐξ οὐρανοῦ καὶ ἔσωσέν με, ἔδωκεν εἰς ὄνειδος τοὺς καταπατοῦντάς με.

4 My soul is among lions; and I lie even among those who are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

57:4 καὶ ἐρρύσατο τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐκ μέσου σκύμνων.
ἐκοιμήθην τεταραγμένος·
υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων, οἱ ὀδόντες αὐτῶν ὅπλον καὶ βέλη, καὶ ἡ γλῶσσα αὐτῶν μάχαιρα ὀξεῖα. 		57:4 καὶ ἐρρύσατο τὴν ψυχήν μου ἐκ μέσου σκύμνων.

υἱοὶ ἀνθρώπων, οἱ ὀδόντες αὐτῶν ὅπλα καὶ βέλη, καὶ ἡ γλῶσσα αὐτῶν μάχαιρα ὀξεῖα.

6 They have prepared a net for my steps; my soul is bowed down; they have dug a pit before me, into the midst of which they are fallen themselves. Selah.
